I’m extremely honored to have placed in either 1st or 2nd place in the last 3 years of Greenville’s Gingerbread House Contest! I’m grateful for all the love and votes from so many amazing friends and supports! Here’s a picture and video look at the past creations:
In December, 2023, I entered the 2nd Annual Holiday Gingerbread Competition hosted by the Residence Inn & Springhill Suites in downtown Greenville, SC. My wonderful friend April Rains was my partner, and a huge help to bring us not one but TWO winning spots. Our gingerbread creation “Christmas Through the Wardrobe” took first place as Media Winner and second place as People’s Choice winner!
In 2024, I created “Enchanted Nutcracker Theatre” which honored my love of the Greenville theater scene, and my favorite Christmas performance.
In 2025, I created “We’re Not in Greenville Anymore, Toto” which celebrated my obsession with Wicked, and also combines The Wizard of Oz with Greenville. The idea I had was that Dorothy Gale’s tornado passed through Greenville on its way to Oz, picking up various Greenville landmarks.
